Shipping

Shipping - General 

  • We ship to any country in the world. However, we reserve the right to restrict the forms of payment we accept and to vary other trading terms in specific areas as a precaution against credit card fraud. We may require buyers to purchase compulsory insurance for delivery to unsafe locations.

  • For items shipped via FedEx, UPS, or the Postal Service, we ship after funds have cleared. The Buyer pays actual shipping and insurance charges. We use professional packing for safety and insurance purposes, and the Buyer must cover any additional packing and shipping fees directly with the packing/shipping company (see information below for furniture shipping details).

  • The Buyer is responsible for paying all shipping and insurance costs. International buyers are also responsible for import fees, customs duties, and taxes applicable to the destination country.

 

Shipping - International

  • We fill out all customs forms accurately. Please do not ask us to misrepresent an item to save on import fees/duties.

 

Shipping - Furniture Items

  • It is mandatory to insure all items at their full value.

  • Contact us for delivery quotes.

  • We use only professional shippers.

  • You may, of course, use your shipper for any of our items.

  • Furniture items must be picked up within 14 days of payment. The customer is responsible for arranging the shipping unless otherwise agreed in advance.

  • After two weeks, storage fees apply. We are not responsible for items left for more than 30 days.

 

Shipping - Small items

  • We are happy to ship small items worldwide.

  • All additional costs for special packing, duties, taxes, etc, are to be paid by the customer.

  • It is the customers' responsibility to calculate and pay all applicable taxes and duties.

  • Small items are shipped via FedEx or regular postal service. 

 

Damage-Returns

If an item arrives damaged:

  • All items are shipped fully insured, and you will have to file the claim. Please keep all packing/shipping materials for your case investigation and take pictures of any damage. This policy is firm. Please take extra care to examine your item as soon as you receive it.

  • It is your responsibility to examine items on receipt.

  • Any damage must be reported to Blue Iris / Iris Bleu and the shipper within 24 hours of receipt.

  • Once the items have left our hands, Blue Iris / Iris Bleu is not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from shipping. The Buyer is responsible for any damage claims, which must be handled directly with your shipper.
