Meet the Team
BLUE IRIS / IRIS BLEU aims to bring vintage designs to today's interiors. Our goal is to offer an eclectic inventory of carefully selected vintage decor to add elegance and style to classic and modern homes.
Over 28 years of career, we have developed a know-how and a "French Touch" sensitivity upon which we have built our collection. Our inventory spans the 1920s through the 1980s, reflecting a personal interest in Art Deco and Mid-Century-Modern.
The team (husband and wife) has a background in design and public relations.
She worked for several years for American companies in France, in design, public relations, and fashion. She has degrees in English and communication.
He has always been involved in Design, first for model companies and then for fashion companies. His passion for form, function, and aesthetics led him to antiques.
In 1995, they decided to turn their common passion into a business. Iris Bleu opens its first store in Paris, France. Located in the mythical Marais district of Paris, our shop is the meeting place for all antiques lovers and collectors of 20th-century design. Our clientele is French but also very largely international.
In 2014, Iris Bleu's life changed as the team decided to leave France and settle in Atlanta, GA. Iris Bleu is now BLUE IRIS / IRIS BLEU.
In 2015, after a few years of interruption, we renewed our collaboration with the 1stdibs marketplace. This same year, we also opened an online store on Chairish.

Precursors on the Internet Blue Iris / Iris Bleu developed in 2001, a collaboration with 1stdibs, then a very young marketplace company.
The Internet will forever change the exchange of fine arts, antiques, and decorative objects in the years to come. This is our conviction.
The colossal challenge of bringing the client closer to the antique pieces or objects sought without any geographical restriction is exciting and a whole new way of looking at the profession of an antique dealer.
Setting up a professional structure that meets the specific needs of this new medium is here to compensate for the amateur's lack of physical contact with the object. Establishing and consolidating the trust of ever more demanding customers will allow them a serene shopping experience as satisfying as a tour of an antique shop.
