One of the most iconic Bakelite pieces ever: an exquisite modernist Bakelite box crafted by Linsden Ware in England, circa 1925. The box has a stunning half-moon swivel shape and is a perfect desk organizer for pens and pencils. Initially, this box is a cigarette dispenser with Edwardian-style design featuring a semi-circular shape opening out to a full circle to offer its contents. The piece exudes refined carving and a luminous cocoa-brown color, with orange flame swirling across its shiny surface. The box is marked on the underside with the company's trade logo and the "Made in England" origin.
