This stunning Art Deco silver plate cylindrical cocktail or Martini shaker was crafted by silversmith WMF, Germany, circa 1930. The three-sectioned cocktail shaker has a removable cap and filter strainer. Its lovely geometric shape boasts a typical streamlined Deco design. The bar accessory is marked on the underside with legal silversmith hallmarks reading 'NS - WMF'.
The acronym "NS" stands for Neusilber (Alpacca). It means a base metal product used for silver plating. The company used this mark between 1918 and 1965.
