This modernist wooden canoe bowl or centerpiece from the Taverneau Collection was designed by Arthur Umanoff for Raymor and produced in Haiti. 
The sleek and premium oversized shape has a typical Danish flair. The carved and oiled tropical wood is fine-grained and has a warm tea-red color, just the way you want it. The surface is smooth, and it feels good to touch it. The original Umanoff label is still attached on the underside with engraved "Haiti" and reference number.
This lovely wooden piece has a large proportion and is perfect as a centerpiece to display fruits or floral decorations on your table.
