Masini Silversmiths was founded in 1946 by Carlo Masini in a traditional Florentine workshop near the Ponte Vecchio, where he began producing silver objects in the finest local artisanal tradition. Deeply rooted in Florence's historic craftsmanship yet eager to explore new creative directions, Masini became the first Italian artisan to combine silver with crystal in a series of innovative and exquisitely executed designs.
In 1959, the firm moved to its current premises and gradually expanded into a fully equipped manufactory. Despite its growth and adoption of modern production techniques, the company has remained steadfastly committed to its artisanal origins. Today, with three generations of the Masini family involved, this dedication continues to define the workshop's identity.
Masini is recognized as one of the oldest active silver manufacturers in the Florence region, celebrated for its refined workmanship and enduring contribution to Italian decorative arts.
