Stylish tantalus or cave à liqueur, barware accessory made in France during the Art Deco period. The geometric mounted case is made of varnish Macassar and burl walnut with large chromed metal carrying arm and dark wood handle. Three cut-glass decanters with faceted stoppers are held in place in small square compartments. The tantalus has a lock and key that unable the flat swing-carrying arm to fold forward or backward to release the decanters. No visible maker's mark. This tantalus comes with a fully working lock and two keys.
