Stunning French Art Deco barware accessory glass markers for cocktails and parties designed by Sudre, Paris. Features a chromed metal silhouette shape of a French Navy sailor with enameling details and a tall pole holder. The Pole holder is chromed metal with a life preserver attached to the bottom. The pole holds twelve tiny flag-shaped glass markers. Assorted enamel colors on flags feature various international countries. It is engraved "Sudre" signature on the back of the sailor. The base is in Macassar wood with engraved "depose" (patented) on the side.

About:

Sudre was a French artisan designer who owned a small craft store in Paris, 3rd Arrondissement. He is well-known for his unique bar accessories, all hand-crafted and limited edition. His production is mainly 1930s to the 1940s.
