Michel Dumas for Roche Bobois designed this stunning Machine Age metal-and-Lucite picture frame. The rare photo frame was expertly crafted in France, circa 1960. The modernist design features a geometric, chromed-metal base holder with intentionally visible screws. The photographs are between two extra-thick Lucite slabs, one transparent and the other in copper smoke color. The frame can be positioned in either portrait or landscape orientation. It is reversible, which means one picture can be displayed on each side. There is no visible maker's mark.
