This is a stunning Talosel brooch pin with a geometric design that was crafted by Line Vautrin during the 1960s. The pin sparkles with an array of colorful mirrored glass arranged in a modern and sculptural shape. Line Vautrin developed the Talosel technique, which involves using cellulose acetate fractured into tiny splinters and then worked with heat. The creation process of this jewelry involves several stages, such as making and tinting the mirrors, molding the Talosel, and embedding smaller mirror fragments into it.

Note: A similar piece in different colors was sold in June 2009 by Wright Auction House in Chicago, Illinois.
