Very nice Art Deco vase by Saint Clement, France. French ceramic vase with white crackle glaze finish. Features a tumbler shape with a large opening and stunning modernist carved design. Excellent vintage condition.
The crackle clear glaze was a popular technique for animal and figural statues as well as decorative vases during the Art Deco period in France.
Most of those vases were designed and manufactured by Saint Clement for Le Printemps Department Store in Paris and sold under their "Atelier Primavera" label.
