This stunning picture frame was crafted in Italy, circa 1970, by designer Montagnani Firenze. The rare photo frame's unexpected combination of materials creates a sophisticated design with modernist lines and artistic flair. The framing is made of heavy, gilded brass with a lovely Lucite faux-horn marquetry inlay on the front. The photography is protected with glass. The back and easel are made of glossy wood with gilded brass hardware. There is no visible designer's mark.
