This rare set of three stunning colored glass bottles was designed by Salvador Dali (1904 - 1989) for Rosso Antico, Ltd, Italy, in the 1970s. Those geometric barware liquor bottles are in an assorted blue hue with original Dali's surrealistic designs in blue tones, as well, on each bottle. They are marked Salvador Dali on the back with a number.
Each has a different serigraph image created by Salvador Dali. Surrealist views of vineyards focus on flower motifs for each bottle with Dali's signature and dating integrated into the design.
Each bottle has its original black plastic stopper intact.
Limited edition bottles were commissioned and produced by Rosso Antico from 1970 to 1972.
Our last picture shows the original advertising for those bottles created by Salvador Dali for the brand.

About:

The history of Rosso Antico is closely linked to the Buton family of distillers, official suppliers of the Imperial House to the court of Napoleon I.
1820 is an important date, this date is still today printed in relief on the glass of the elegant bottle. Jean Buton, the heir to the family, moved to Bologna, where he founded J. Buton & C., the first Italian steam distillery.
It was 1962 when, from the liqueur experience of the J. Buton Distillery, Rosso Antico was born, an original wine-based aperitif with a strong flavor and an iconic bottle.
These were the years of the economic boom, and there was never a shortage of opportunities to toast: Rosso Antico, with its famous drink in a goblet, smooth with orange peel, became an icon of the time, so much so that it earned the nickname of "Prince of aperitifs."
Rosso Antico already stood out in the 1960s for its commitment to communication: the productions created for Carosello, the posters, and the press pages helped build the myth of the Prince of aperitifs.
In that period, slogans such as "solo in coppa" (only in a cup) became so famous that they increased the notoriety of the product even abroad.
