This stylish and large egg or ovoid-shaped silver plate caviar bowl, serving dish, or caviar chiller set is hallmarked St James, made in Brazil with a coat of arms on the square base. It is sculptural on all sides and has a touch of Art Deco style, but is very modern.
The top lid opens up to a glass bowl insert and removable liner. The dome-like top is hinged.

Founded in São Paulo in 1976, St. James is, to this day, the most respected manufacturer of silver-plated tableware in Brazil. In 1978 the company began exporting its products to Europe and the USA.
