An outstanding example of mid‑century Italian design, this 1960s wall mirror was produced by Vivai del Sud, Roma. The elliptical frame is meticulously hand-braided in dark brown wicker or rattan (bamboo or pencil reed), creating a sculptural, organic silhouette around the mirrored-glass insert. While not signed, the craftsmanship is consistent with the atelier's work from the period. Originally configured for vertical installation, the mirror can also be hung horizontally with the addition of a secondary hook, making it adaptable to a variety of interior settings.
